Leads men and women as they join together in spiritual growth by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering; follows in the tradition of its founder Frederick Ozanam, and patron St. Vincent de Paul.
Time: Business meetings are monthly on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm and Spiritual meetings are monthly on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm in the Macon Room. Food Pantry and Financial Assistance office open Tuesday mornings from 9am until noon in the SVdP building. Other volunteer opportunities are available during the year for special events such as the Friends of the Poor Walk, Thanksgiving Dinners, and the Angel Tree. There are also opportunities to serve in the the food pantry and office, home visits, the thrift store, the warehouse and the Alfred Washburn Center. We will work with your availability. You may need to complete the Diocesan Safe Environment Guidelines based on type of volunteering.
