The Welcome Committee reaches out to newly registered members of the parish by organizing and hosting newcomer events throughout the year. Assistance and information are also offered to help newcomers become involved in the parish community.
Time: Approximately one hour per month on the telephone calling new parishioners. Additional Newcomer events are organized and hosted throughout the year.
Talent/Special Skills: New members of the parish are contacted by Welcome Committee volunteers. Anyone wishing to serve on the committee should have a warm and welcoming spirit, willingness to foster relationships, and a desire to help our newcomers feel welcome at our parish.
